Pool Talk (Update: 4/2/'26)

We are still progressing nicely with the construction of the new pool and all other things that will have us ready in time for the successful launch of Splash! || Haverhill Country Club.  

Construction Goals (still on track!): The floor and walls of the pool have been shot with gunite which now need two weeks to cure. New doors have been installed in the building. 4/9: Removal of the forms. 4/20: Backfilling to support the structure. Toddler splash pad to be formed. Exterior building fascia carpentry finished. Painting of the interior and exterior of the building/bar top resurfacing commences. 4/25 Waterline tile and perimeter plumbing. 4/30: Decking and in-pool tile. 5/10: New windows for snack bar/concierge. 5/15: Plaster completion. 5/16: Pool filled with water!  5/22: Landscape, new fencing and irrigation completed.

Swim Programming: We are finalizing a collaboration with Swimm with Timm, with whom many of you are familiar from your experience with their swim programs. HCC will be subcontracting our swim lessons, teams and classes to Timm and his crew in order to best accommodate the programming needs of our members. Timm will be offering programs and classes for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Teams, kids classes, water aerobics, parent-child's and more will all take place at times that are low impact to our members' use of the pool (exclusive use before 10am and select evenings from 4-7pm using only a small portion of the main pool).  Timm will be here to answer questions at the upcoming pool member gatherings. Cabanas/Furniture: Not to be forgotten in the timeline for completion above, new permanent cabanas will be constructed and will adorn the perimeter of the pool deck. We are currently in transition to an online booking system that will make cabanas available for half day rentals within two days in advance of any utilization day.  Reserving a cabana will come at a cost, but booking will be a great advantage as cabanas fill up very quickly on busy days. We'll also continue to offer seasonal cabana rentals. Those signing up for a seasonal rental will still need to book a reservation, but will have a window 5 days in advance of the utilization day to reserve. On days that aren't booked up, open cabanas will be treated as first come, first serve.
New tables, chairs and barstools are on their way for the food pavilion area. We're looking forward to this being a more comfortable location to have a snack, full meal or a drink. Remember, it is only in this area and the grass areas where it's permissible to have food or sticky drinks. Nobody wants to step in a wet french-fry or see a kool-aid stain on our new deck!

Save the Date: On May 17th, we'll be holding a little get together for pool members. Call it an Open House! We'll create a social setting where we will share more thoughts and plans for the season and give you the opportunity to come talk to the directors and pool personnel ahead of Opening Day.  This will be a great chance to familiarize yourself with everything your club has to offer. Light apps and drinks will be served, pool coolers and merch will be available and you'll be in the company of those that you'll see at the pool all summer long!

INTRODUCING “SPLASH!” 



We are excited to introduce the informal name of the new facility — Splash!  Splash will be co-branded as an important extension of Haverhill Country Club’s long-standing golf course and club amenities, reflecting a space designed for families, relaxation, and summer activity while remaining rooted in the traditions of the Club.
We’re also pleased to share the new Splash logo (shown above), which will appear on a variety of fun summer merchandise available at the pool — including drinkware, cover-ups, tees and polos, hats, towels and more. We think this new offering will be a great way for both members and staff to show their “Splash @ Haverhill Country Club” pride throughout the season.
We are also actively preparing programming for the new facility, including a swim team, swim lessons, and coordinated youth programs that allow kids to both swim and golf, along with additional planned activities at the pool. More information on these offerings will be shared as details are finalized.
So, as summer plans come together, you may want to leave a little extra room on the calendar — there is going to be a lot to be part of at Splash! We look forward to sharing more as we get closer to opening day!

Pool Construction (Update: 2/21/'26)

We wanted to share a brief update on the progress of the new pool. The construction team continues to make steady progress, currently working through the structural framing phase, which will be followed by electrical grounding and the application of gunite before work pauses awaiting warmer ground temperatures to arrive in early spring. This winter’s repeated snow events have created unavoidable safety-related work stoppages, but the contractor is closely monitoring the weather and adjusting schedules to keep the project moving as efficiently as possible. While earlier communications referenced Memorial Day as a goal, our projected timeline has always aligned more closely with a mid-June opening, and at this point the project remains generally within that expected window.
In the meantime, many other improvements to the pool area are actively progressing. Tree work is nearing completion, new cabanas have been ordered, replacement windows and doors for the building will be installed soon, final selections for tile and water feature details have been completed, and a brand-new vinyl surround fence has been selected and scheduled.
We understand members have made a meaningful commitment to the new dues structure, and our priority remains delivering a high-quality facility and strong value for the season. We will continue to provide updates as progress continues and appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through the final stages of winter construction.

A New Era of Relaxation and Recreation Is Coming! (Update: Dec 2025)

Exciting things are happening at Haverhill Country Club!  We are thrilled to announce that construction is now underway for our brand-new pool, designed to bring a fresh wave of fun, comfort, and community to our members.  
While we can’t reveal every detail just yet, one thing is certain — this new pool will be the centerpiece of an enhanced outdoor experience at Haverhill Country Club. From beautiful lounging areas to modern facilities, we’re working within a carefully planned budget to not only build the pool but also begin improving the surrounding buildings and amenities. Our vision is to create a space that feels both luxurious and welcoming — and we’ll continue to elevate the experience over time.

Opening by Mid-June (Update: Dec 2025)


Construction has begun and is progressing quickly.  This means we are prepared to share that the new pool is anticipated to open no later than mid-June. Whether you’re looking forward to swimming laps, relaxing poolside with friends, or enjoying family time in the sun, this summer will mark the start of something truly special.  We will have you swimming when the kids are out of school and the weather is appropriate.
